Emil Irrius

Emil Irrius is an Imperial publican who runs The Emporium Club, a bar in the Imperial City Waterfront Tunnel that caters to a shadier clientele.

Emil never leaves his bar. He sleeps on a pallet behind the bar from 4am to 10am, then gets up and starts serving customers.

Emil wears middle-class clothing, which he changes sometimes, and is armed with a steel dagger for when things get out of hand; he carries a small amount of gold and a key to the Emporium's main door.

If you come into the bar during open hours, Emil will issue one of two greetings at random: "Heh, looking for anything in particular? If you're interested, we stock a few 'beverages' that you can't find in any other normal, law-abiding tavern." OR "Welcome, welcome! Come in and have a drink! Unless you're a pesky guard, then you can just beat it!" If you come in during the off-hours, he'll tell you: "The bar's closed for a few hours so I can get some sleep! Come back later, and don't bother me again until we open."
