When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Map Upload

Hi Veronica, I noticed you uploaded an image for the quest start location of The Jewel of Baan Dar. We don't upload maps with the in-game icons marked on them as this limits there usage to one article. For this location marking we would use the Template - Map Link. For example: Quest Start Location

This is the markup used to get the result of the link above:

About Map Upload

Hi Kiz, thanks for the welcome and the info. I added a brief description of Jakarn's location in Rimmen and a link to the map you created in the discussion section of https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:The_Jewel_of_Baan_Dar. I wasn't sure how else I could edit the quest page without mucking things up, but I hope this addition ends up helping someone. It’s no problem, to add it to the quest page, the easiest way would to edit the quick walkthrough which is a bullet point list of the major steps to the quest. For example:

• Locate Jakarn’s body at this location in Rimmen

For the detailed section you would want to add any specifics like which building he might be next to, so as to give the player a much easier guide to follow.

Also, if you add ~~~~ after a post on a talk page, that would be great! Other than that, have a read of some the guides to figure out how to go about editing or look at some of the more complete pages. Kiz^{(email - talk)} 00:01, 25 October 2019 (GMT)
