Skyrim:Rare Curios Items

This page documents the new items added by the Rare Curios Creation. Most can only be obtained from Khajiit caravan traders.

Ammunition

All of these items are crafted at a forge with firewood and either the appropriate metal ingot or the noted item.

Arrows

Bolts

Unlike steel and Dwarven bolts, these can be forged anywhere if you have joined the Dawnguard. They can also be purchased from Sorine Jurard after the quest A New Order. All bolts can still only be crafted by being a member of the Dawnguard faction and speaking with Sorine after A New Order.

Food

Both of these items are created by cooking them in a pot. Chokeberries can be purchased from Babette. Placing a poisoned apple in an NPC's inventory and waiting results in the NPC's death. Waiting time varies and occasionally poison fumes become visible. This does not require the Poisoned Pickpocketing perk.

Ingredients

Most of the effects on these ingredients have either increased magnitude or increased duration compared to the same effects found on common ingredients, making them more valuable in alchemy.

Notes

• New alchemical effects include Cure Poison, Light, Night Eye, and Spell Absorption. All of these effects have appeared in the game in some form before, but not through ingredients.
