Buvik is a Nord commoner, owner and proprietor of the Bravil Barrel Brewery, a brewery on the Bravil Docks.
As the owner and sole worker, Buvik leads a busy life. He rises at 8am every day from his bed above the shop and eats breakfast for two hours before going downstairs to work. He starts off standing, but as the day wears on, he loses energy and sits down around 2pm. At 6pm, he takes a two-hour break to go upstairs and sample the fruit of his efforts (i.e. drink some mead); this restores his energy somewhat, and he goes back down to resume working until midnight, when he goes to bed.
Buvik wears a wolfskin vest, blacksmith's pants, and rough leather shoes; he carries the key to his shop and 4 pieces of ham.
The Brewery is located at the eastern end of the docks, right at the bend, on the lower level. Buvik occupies one room on the upper floor of the Brewery - the other part of the floor is given over to storage for his mead, beer, and ale. His room is large enough to have separate spaces for living/dining and sleeping. The dining area has a small table, washbasin, and several barrels and cabinets; the sleeping area has a bed, shelves, and a dresser.
Buvik is friendly and effusive, greeting everyone with good cheer: "You look like the kind of person who enjoys a good, hardy mead! I know you'll love my personal brew, the recipe comes straight from the snowy plains of my homeland of Skyrim! Up there, a good mead is worth its own weight in gold..." If you ask how long he's made mead, he says: "All my life! My parents taught me the trade when I was young, and I've been doing it ever since. My Bravil Barrel Mead is highly sought after, so the demand for it is always high, so there is always work to be done!"
