Notes[edit]

Walkthrough[edit]

Exterior[edit]

Just in front of the entrance you will find the body of an Imperial miner, along with two iron ores, some bloody bones on stakes and three clouded funnel plants.

Gutted Mine[edit]

Immediately upon entering you will stumble across the corpse of another miner and a box with eight Applewatch cider bottles. Next you will arrive in a large central room and unless you are sneaking, you should prepare for a huge fight with up to eleven enemies (plus any reanimated miners), who will be drawn from nearby areas by the sounds of battle. In the first section of the room you will find five vampire thralls: two are sat at a table with a bottle of cider, another is on a ledge to the west next to a bedroll, one is patrolling the area below next to a smelter and another is up a ledge on the eastern wall. Near the smelter is another dead miner, a silver ore vein and a table with seven silver ingots. From here you can take a short detour by heading west and down a tunnel where you will find two thralls, two silver ore veins and three silver ores in a cart. Just ahead of the cart and final ore vein, beware of a Flammable Gas trap.

Return to the smelter area and follow the western wall: you will find an alcove with a dead miner and a silver ore vein. Above it is a wooden structure with a thrall guarding another ore vein. Cross over to the eastern side, pass under a large wooden structure and follow the tunnel south. In the next room are two thralls and two wooden platforms on either side. One platform hosts an ore vein, while the other a potion of healing, a potion of plentiful healing and a potion of stamina. Two passages depart from the room. The one to the south leads to an ore vein, while to the northern one to another thrall, a dead miner, a silver ore vein and four silver ores in a box.

Return to the workbench and you will note the chamber splits in two. Head north and you will arrive in an abandoned campsite with a dining table, three bedrolls and two dead miners. The area is guarded by a master vampire and two thralls, plus another two thralls on a wooden structure to the west. Near the latrine in southeastern corner of the room is a potion of minor healing, while on the wooden structure you will find another dead miner, a bottle of Applewatch cider and an Adept-locked chest. A tunnel to the north leads to a dead miner in a pool of blood, alongside two silver ores and three ingots in a box. Retrace your steps to the room and head southwest under the wooden structure to return to the workbench.

Head west now and ignore the tunnel branching off to the south: it only leads to a series of dead-end tunnels. Instead press on to the north and you'll reach area with two thralls and wooden structure with a rope bridge. Once you've dispatched them, climb up the wooden stairs and cross the bridge to access an ore vein and three silver ores. A western passage directly across from the bridge leads to two more veins and an ore barrel.

Climb down and head northwest again, passing under the bridge, before you reach another intersection. The northeastern tunnel leads to a silver ore vein; mine it and then take the southeastern tunnel, past two dead miners, until you reach a room with a small lake and stone-carved area. There are two thralls here as well as a master vampire sleeping in a coffin, a boss chest, a regular chest (underwater), a skeleton corpse, three coin purses and two silver ores.
