Duplicate Image categories

Why are there two image categories for each namespace? For example Images-Oblivion and Oblivion-Images? --Gaebrial 09:50, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I think we just need one, but that one should then be a member of both Category:Images and the namespace's category (e.g., Category:Oblivion). --Nephele^Talk 16:16, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I have a hazy recollection of trying to set up two contrasting hierarchies... but I can't remember exactly what I was trying to do and it definitely hasn't worked in any case. I'd keep Oblivion-Images, I think. –rpeh^{•T•C•E•} 16:53, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I have settled on using the categories "Namespace-Images", rather than "Images-Namespace", as the former is more consistent with the naming of the subcategories (such as Oblivion-Book Images).

However, there is one problem page. Can I request a bot action? There are a load of Morrowind icon images, which are currently in one of Images-Morrowind-Icons-Armor, Images-Morrowind-Icons-Clothing, Images-Morrowind-Icons-Miscellaneous, and Images-Morrowind-Icons-Weapons. Can these be moved to the categories Category:Morrowind-Images-Icons-Armor, Category:Morrowind-Images-Icons-Clothing, Category:Morrowind-Images-Icons-Miscellaneous, and Category:Morrowind-Images-Icons-Weapons by a bot? --Gaebrial 08:29, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps I would be able to edit these, rather than have someone script a bot. I only counted about 300 or so files, which actually isn't a whole lot. And the edits seem kind of... easy, perhaps. If no one objects to this, I could start later today. —Elliot^(T-C) 08:50, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
