Dragonlings are winged reptiles that resemble dragons and attack by breathing fire. Some call them "fairy dragons", perhaps due to their pink hue, perhaps for other reasons. Many mistake them for actual dragons, but scholars insist that they are not. They can be hit by weapons of any material.

In classic, dragonlings had many placeholder stats, copied from a level 16 template.

Enemy Expansion changed dragonlings to a level 18 monster, with 20-40 damage (up from 5-15), 27-146 hit points (up from 14-42), and -5 armor class (up from 6).

Dragonlings have some of the strongest damage in the game, especially with their massive 250 strength. Weak characters might prefer attacking from a distance.
