Bruce Nesmith is a retired game designer and writer.

He is currently authoring his own series of modern fantasy novels called Loki Redeemed.

  • Nesmith and Kurt Kuhlmann tag teamed on developing the Radiant Story quest system for Skyrim.
  • Nesmith was responsible for designing the all new magic system for Skyrim.
  • Nesmith fine tuned the leveling system coming off Oblivion's system.
  • Nesmith was responsible for originating the Dragon Priests in Skyrim.
  • Nesmith was responsible for the Laid to Rest quest in Skyrim.
  • Nesmith was in favor of simplifying the religious pantheon for Skyrim, believing the complicated religions of Morrowind to have been a mistake, choosing instead to use the main pantheon originated in Daggerfall.
  • Nesmith was responsible for designing the main quest of Skyrim: Dawnguard.
