Lord Magnessen[UOL 1] was Great Knight of the Blades in the Iliac Bay during the late Third Era, serving as their leader.[1][2][3][UOL 1]
Biography[edit]
Early History[edit]
Magnessen and his sister, Brisienna, were born as nobles in the secret society of families comprising the Blades.[4][5] Members of the Blades are trained generation after generation to be the finest warriors of Tamriel; Magnessen and his sister inferably underwent such training.[4] As is customary in the Blades, Magnessen received a scar over his right eyebrow as a proclamation of his alignment.[6]
Recreating the Numidium[edit]
Circa 3E 405, the Blades of Iliac Bay were finishing their recreation of the Numidium (a great golem once used by Tiber Septim to build his Empire four hundred years ago, which was destroyed shortly after Tiber's conquests were done) after centuries of work.[3]
Fate[edit]
The Great Knight's fate following the Miracle of Peace remains unknown.

- A cut letter from Daggerfall would have had the Great Knight send a missive to the player when some time after they obtain the Totem of Tiber Septim, prompting them to deliver the Totem to him at Castle Llugwych.[UOL 1]
