Koeglin Village (or simply Koeglin) is a port town in High Rock, located in the Alcaire region on the western edge of Stormhaven, southeast of the pass that leads to Glenumbra [1]
The village is surrounded by farmlands to the north. A lighthouse is located on a small island off the coast of Koeglin.
An ebony mine used to be exploited by the people of Koeglin. In 2E 582, the Wayrest Mages Guild sent an expedition to the old mine to check if the crystals found there were suitable to create soul gems.[2] [3] [4]
The same year, an expedition of Dunmer slavers known as the Ember-Eye Slavers, raided Koeglin and the nearby port of Steelheart Moorings, using the mine as hideout for their operations.[1][5] It was also plagued by Vaermina's nightmares.[6]
Notes[edit]
- Unused texts, cut from the final version of Elder Scrolls Online, suggest that Koeglin Village in the Second Era corresponds to the city of Koegria of the Third Era.
