Aydolan

Quicktalon Clan was one of numerous clans of Reachfolk. They were an ancient clan that inhabited the Reach and was sundered by Carinar the Sharp's patricide. Legendary Vateshran Aydolan was born as a member of the Quicktalon Clan.[1]

History[edit]

Little is known of the foundation date of the Quicktalon Clan, but it was long before 1E 2502,[1] before the times "anyone can remember".[2]

One of its members was Aydolan, who already as a child, was an exceptionally skilled and determined hunter, fighting foes much bigger than himself, overcoming the hardships through swiftness and determination. Another known member to be once part of the clan was Carinar the Sharp, a contemporary of Aydolan and the son of the clan's chieftain.[1]

Carinar eventually plotted against his father and killed him. The patricide led to the sundering of the Quicktalon Clan, which split into two factions - one that followed the ideas of the deceased chief and the newly founded Spiritblood Clan, which supported Carinar. Little is known of the faction that refused to accept Carinar's leadership, and it is unknown whether they decided to choose a new name or remained Quicktalon Clan, but the Spiritblood Clan left the Quicktalon Clan's territories and ventured south. During this travel, Aydolan became the first Vateshran of the Spiritblood Clan.[1]
