Hircine[edit]

Is there any source that actually states that they worship Hircine except that one individual used one of his rituals? Besides that, as Gez already mentioned on the CP, "[W]yrds are not monolithic entities. The Glenmoril Wyrd, supposedly dedicated to Hircine, also had covens that worshiped Molag Bal, Namira, or Mehrunes Dagon. And the Glenmoril covens who do worship Hircine do not share the same dogma about him, which translates to different attitudes wrt. the Reachmen and lycanthropy." Why would the Beldama Wyrd be any different and who is to say that they also have a different dogma about Hircine in contrast to Jephre? I believe it's better to just leave it at that they worship both (if there is a source) instead of going out of the way to say they changed believes or that they worship an antithesis now. --Ilaro (talk) 18:00, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

I actually want to take this a step further and say that Hircine is not present in the Spell Knight Creation in any capacity. The inclusion of Hircine on this page is based on a Hagraven creating a Briarheart, which justifies this as involvement with Hircine based on a text from an ESO companion book:
"The absolute pinnacle of warriorhood among these crossbreeds are the Briarhearts; communion with Hircine has allowed their own hearts to be cut from their chests and a ligament of poisoned briars sewn in their place."
I don't think the author of this book is omniscient or has such perfect information on briarhearts for us to declare any tangential association with Briarhearts as Hircine worship. I would personally say that any mention of Hircine being involved with Briarhearts would be more appropriate on the lore page on Briarhearts or Hircine, not here where Hircine's involvement is never directly mentioned. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 19:06, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
