Same Island?[edit]

Would someone mind double-checking whether or not the island west of Northern Watch Ritual Site is indeed the same as Kyne's Aegis? According to the map of Western Skyrim, the island is much smaller and seems to be accessible as there is a chest located on it. If this is indeed the case, then Kyne's Aegis does not retroactively appear in TES V, and this information should be removed from the page. --Rezalon (talk) 06:32, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

I had the same doubts, but then I watched that ESO stream mentioned in the UOL citation and the ESO devs there say that the island does actually appears in TES V, as an island that "you go to and mine and stuff like that". But if it hadn't been said by them explicitly, I'd completely agree with you. Also: only the southern coast of the island (with the chest) is accessible, the rest is not. --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 09:49, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
Seems like an inconsistency that the island shows up twice in ESO, but if you look at the island in TESV it does bear a striking resemblance to Kyne's Aegis. —Legoless (talk) 20:22, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
