Balyn Omarel's House is a small, single-room home on the eastern bank of the Odai River in Balmora. It is located south of the Eastern Guard Tower, on the second story of a building shared with Rararyn Radarys. The home has two locked entrances: the front door (level 30) and a trap door on the roof (level 50).
The home belongs to Balyn Omavel but is labeled "Balyn Omarel's House" due to a spelling error (see bug). Balyn can normally be found outside, wandering near the waterfront.
Interior[edit]
Inside, Balyn has a small table and shelf lined with ceramic bowls and bottles. Several urns, baskets, and sacks contain various food items. The Illusion skill book Incident in Necrom can be found on the bed in the room's far corner. At the foot of the bed, a level 15 locked chest contains clothes, gold, and random loot. Climbing the ladder and picking the locked trap door will lead you to the roof.
Balyn's Cauldron — which you may poison as part of Mephala's Quest — can be found by turning right after entering through the front door.
