Lord Dregas Volar

Lord Dregas Volar, a unique dremora, is the resident of the Daedric shrine of Magas Volar and the holder of the last known Daedric Crescent. To get the crescent, you must defeat Volar.

To get to this special location, you'll need the Daedric Sanctuary Amulet, which can be found in a Small Ornate Lockbox near Divayth Fyr in Tel Fyr.

Although Volar is carrying a Daedric Crescent and a Tel Fyr Amulet, it is not normally possible to loot his corpse to retrieve these items. The Crescent that you are given when you defeat him is actually a second copy of the weapon; the original is still on his corpse, making it possible to obtain two Daedric Crescents. The notes on Magas Volar detail some possible methods.

Notes

• Volar is a particularly difficult enemy, not a result of his health, but his weapon. The Daedric Crescent will paralyze you every time it hits until its charge is depleted, so it is advisable to take Cure Paralyzation potions with you, cast a Resist Paralysis spell, use an enchanted item with this effect, or use summon spells/scrolls to aid you.
