Morrowind:Willpower
Willpower is the governing Attribute for Alteration, Destruction, Mysticism, and Restoration. It affects:
- Your ability to successfully cast spells of any school. This includes Conjuration and Illusion, even though they are 'governed' by Intelligence and Personality respectively (this just means that, if raised, they give bonuses to raising those stats when leveling up).
- Your ability to innately resist Paralyze and Silence magic.
- Your maximum Fatigue.
The player's starting Willpower, combined with their starting skill level for each school of magic, determines if the player character starts with a spell or two from each school. These spells can all be obtained easily during gameplay (potentially as early as the first vendor), though several of these spells are nice to have early and free.
