Morrowind talk:Edd "Fast Eddie" Theman
Page Name[edit]
Shouldn't this page be called just Edd Theman, which is the name of the character? We can then make a redirect called Fast Eddie and explain in this page why the alias. --DrPhoton 04:56, 12 March 2007 (EDT)
- Sounds good to me - but Edd "Fast Eddie" Theman should also redirect to Edd Themen, just in case. I think it's eqivalent to the Gray Fox / Corvus Umbranox thing in Oblivion. Multiple names for a single character should just redirect to a single page. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:21, 12 March 2007 (EDT)
- Hey, guys, is it Theman or Themen? The page and the talk both seem to be confused. I changed it to Theman on the page. Somercy 12:41, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

- It is Theman indeed. --DrPhoton 15:03, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

Easter Egg[edit]
For some odd reason, I've the most sneaking suspicion that this is an Easter Egg of some kind, perhaps related to the "Fast Eddie" character in the Callahan's Crosstime Saloon books by Spider Robinson. Especially with a last name like "the man"... Somercy 12:27, 12 March 2007 (EDT)
- The character could also refer to Motorhead's guitarist, Fast Eddie Clarke.— Unsigned comment by 82.24.14.147 (talk) at 18:49 on 27 November 2010

- I heard that the infamous freemason con artist Edward Jenner was also called "Fast Eddie" 178.178.95.213 17:19, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
confused[edit]
This is interesting. It appears that I have somehow killed Fast Eddie (without getting a "prophecy severed" warning) is this fatally harmful to my chances of completing the game? Or can I still do so? Luxis Miles 21:36, 21 January 2008 (EST)
- You will still be able to complete the Main Quest without any problems. (Only characters whose death affects the Main Quest give you the "prophecy severed" warning.) You probably won't be able to complete the House Telvanni quest line, unfortunately. (If you're a member of House Hlaalu or House Redoran instead, then it doesn't matter at all.) --TheRealLurlock Talk 00:03, 22 January 2008 (EST)
