Quest done as Hlaalu[edit]

Got this quest, but not a Redoran member, Hlaalu here. Finished the quest, got the shield, ask about duties, and it says the same thing about slander. The journal entry has cleared properly at least. I am guessing it's just a bug for a non-house member. Anyone else have a comment? — Unsigned comment by Warp9pnt9 (talkcontribs) at 14:48 on 26 November 2007 (UTC)

It appears that if you outright kill Hlaano, you are effectively expelled from the Redoran. Although your favorable reaction scores with most Redoran NPCs don't change, you're no longered offered "duties" as an option when interacting with them. Alas. — Unsigned comment by 75.47.105.38 (talk)
That's simply standard game scripts taking over. He's still a member of the house, a slanderous one, but still a member. - Game LordTalk|Contribs 06:46, 7 June 2008 (EDT)
Same happened to me, although I didn't get the shield, I have killed the slanderer (taunt). But how can I became a member when I was expelled? Should I join Redoran standard way? And if so will I recieve more quests from this NPC? I don't have Redoran's memberment. — Unsigned comment by 78.98.15.62 (talk) at 22:10 on 22 September 2009 (UTC)
You need to be in house redoran to recieve Redas items quest. After slanders you have HR = 100 in journal variable, that is also needet to be 100 for Redas quest, but you need PC faction redoran in order to recieve Redas quest. While slander quest not requires you to be redoran. — Unsigned comment by 78.98.238.104 (talk) at 12:34 on 2 December 2009 (UTC)
