Free Him[edit]
is there a key that frees this slave?— Unsigned comment by 76.105.223.62 (talk) at 00:36 on 19 December 2007
- First, no there isn't. But secondly, why would you need to? He's already free, as evidenced by the fact that he's hiding out in the Argonian Mission, where many of the escaped slaves are trying to escape to. Presumably, he'll be shipped back to Black Marsh as soon as they can arrange it. (Never happens in-game, but you can assume it takes a while or something.) At any rate, if you REALLY want to free him, you could try casting Command Humanoid on him, and then leading him to somewhere you DO have a Slave Key for, and then try releasing him there. All you get is one more added to your "Slaves Freed" counter, there's no reward or anything. --TheRealLurlock Talk 20:42, 18 December 2007 (EST)
- You don't "need" to, but you might want to for roleplaying purposes. The slave is only completely free when the bracer is removed, because it also suppresses magic use. Furthermore, if it indeed did one more to your counter of freed slaves, that indeed has material benefits from at least one Twin Lamps member. — Unsigned comment by 71.234.44.10 (talk) at 00:00 on 4 March 2013
Blackmail[edit]
So, when you're blackmailing Im-Kilaya by knowing about her, you're blackmailing him with the fact that they have an escaped slave below the mission, which is illegal, right? I'm just asking because when I discovered her, I immediatly thought that the Argonians upstairs were actually keeping her as a slave. I guess that doesn't make any sense seeing as they're both Argonians, but i wanted to check. -DevotedInsanity 00:10, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, wait, nevermind, I read the journal entries for the related quest. -DevotedInsanity 01:52, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
Confusion[edit]
"If you find her, you can use the information to blackmail Im-Kilaya into donating more money to the Imperial Cult for Alms from the Argonian Mission."
Is the sentence supposed to be "If you find her, you can use "her" information to blackmail Im-Kilaya into donating more money to the Imperial Cult for Alms from the Argonian Mission." I don't know anything about this character I was just wondering if this is simply a grammatical error.— Unsigned comment by Thamoirthegreat (talk • contribs) at 02:55 on 5 January 2013
- It is correct as it is. You are using the fact that she is present to blackmail Im-Kilaya. She is an escaped slave that the embassy is housing and helping to smuggle out of morrowind. Jeancey (talk) 03:02, 5 January 2013 (GMT)
- (edit conflict) It's correct the way it's worded. "The information" is the knowledge that the slave even exists, which you would have to know to be able to use On-Wan for blackmail. On-Wan provides no unique information to make it "her information", if I remember right, so we simply refer to the knowledge of her existence. Snowmane(talk•email) 03:03, 5 January 2013 (GMT)
