Completing quest after being spotted

I don't know how to trigger the line that Balen is supposed to give you upon quest failure. Perhaps you're supposed to return to Balen immediately upon being spotted, and putting the bone in the chest anyway breaks the stage. The console command to complete and remove the quest from the journal after failure is Journal, "EB_Bone", 70--Kalamon (talk) 15:08, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
