Iniel Sintav

Iniel Sintav, an Imperial commoner, is the head of the Sintav clan, one of the most respected families in the Imperial City. He lives in the Imperial City's Elven Gardens District, and has apparently found employment and houses for several of his relatives nearby. His nephew, Cyronin, has had a dispute with Talos Plaza District's resident Helvo Atius, which has caused bad blood between the Sintav and Atius clans.

Iniel has a simple schedule. Every day he wakes at 6am where he goes downstairs and wanders around for six hours. At 11am he leaves his house and heads over to The King and Queen Tavern to enjoy a two-hour lunch. At 1pm he returns home where he spends the rest of the day wandering around the ground floor. At midnight he enters his private quarters to sleep for six hours. On Sundas at 9am the entire Sintav clan head to Iniel's house to have a family reunion. Apart from having company in his wandering, his schedule is unchanged. The Sintav clan (except Iniel) will leave the house at 9pm where he resumes his schedule alone. The only exception to this schedule is during the Light the Dragonfires quest when Iniel, like most Imperial City citizens, is confined to his house.

He wears a burgundy linen shirt and a pair of burgundy linens along with a pair of thick cowhide shoes. He also has a modest amount of gold and his key.

Dialogue[edit]

When you meet him for the first time, he will briefly introduce himself:

"I am Iniel Sintav, head of the Sintav clan."

When asked about the Imperial City, Iniel will assure you that the Sintav and Atius clans live peacefully, with one exception:

Imperial City
"The Sintavs have always been one of the leading families in the City. We will refrain from contact with the Atius, unless provoked."

Rumors[edit]

His nephews Kastus and Vontan will mention their uncle's generosity when introducing themselves:

"Kastus Sintav. Uncle Iniel got us good jobs gardening. We're very grateful."
"I'm Vontan Sintav. Kastus, Beran, and me got this house from Uncle Iniel. Nice, huh?"

Vontan will explain Iniel's mentality when asked about the city, while his brother Beran and sister Jena will provide more evidence of Iniel's patronage:

"I'm a Sintav, and we Sintavs stick together. Uncle Iniel got us swell jobs and a house. It's a family thing."
"If we work hard, Uncle Iniel says he'll set us up in business together, maybe a little fruit orchard, or maybe tomatoes."
"The Sintav clan is very close. We watch out for each other, and Uncle Iniel, he knows everything, and takes care of us."

Meanwhile Kastus and his troublesome brother Cyronin will allude to the clan's feud with the Atius family:

"Whatever Uncle Iniel says. 'Lay off the Atius bastards,' he says, so we lay off."
"What Iniel says, goes. He says, lay off the Atius, I lay off the Atius. Simple."

Cyronin's sister Jastia and wife Carmana are however unimpressed with the feud and grateful Iniel is calming things down:

"I'm sick of all this fighting with the Atius clan. I'm glad Uncle Iniel put his foot down."
"Things have been very quiet with the Atius. That suits me just fine. All this fighting is stupid. What are they fighting about? Just stupid pride."

Fellow patriarch Severius Atius is likewise tired and hopes Iniel will help keep the peace:

"I agree with the Watch Captain. This Atius-Sintav feud has gone on long enough. I can control my people. I hope Iniel can control his."
