Walkthrough[edit]
Once you gain access to the castle, Tulek will have the topic that starts this quest. Just talk to him, and he'll tell you about a prisoner who escaped from the castle. You have to seek out a water trader named Berel Sendala, who's camped out at the Abandoned Oasis. Berel, of course, won't tell you anything, so you'll have to search his baskets. You won't find the escapee (he's long gone), but you will find a ring he left behind (it's in a random basket). You can return the ring to Tulek for information about the order and a couple potions, or keep it for yourself.

Tulek told me that a few weeks ago a pale-skinned prisoner managed to escape from the castle. He said that the water traders came here on the same day, and he believes that the baskets were so hard because the escaped man had hidden inside. My job now is to seek out and question the trader. But he must not die. So if he doesn't want to say anything, I should search his baskets for clues. |

The water trader apparently won't talk to me. He knows well why I'm here and won't bring up the subject. Very clever. I'm going to scour his baskets. |

I found an extraordinary ring. Maybe that is what Tulek had hoped to find? |

I told Tulek that I found nothing and kept the ring. |

I gave Tulek the ring. But now I also want to have some interesting information for it. |

Tulek made a few suggestions that there is a crisis in some circle of Andalis' Men. Supposedly the Assassin Order is fragmented into individual groups. He didn't say more. At least he forked out two more potions. |
- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage ODDAss94Geflohen stage
, where stage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
