The Sundial is a massive construction northwest of Kathar, at the south end of a field of ruins. It consists of a semi-circular ring and a central pedestal with a switch. If you press the switch, a number of torches corresponding to the hours left in the day will light up, and you'll receive a message telling you how old the day is.
