Walkthrough

Once you leave the catacombs, talk to your knights, then head to Bruma to find the countess (she'll be in the chapel). Tell her all that's transpired, then she'll lead to the basement of the Mages Guild, where a teleporter will take you to the IC Temple District.

Mephala will summon a sandstorm, and you'll be sent to a destroyed version of Bruma. Make your way to the castle, where you'll find Mephala himself (herself?). You'll have a choice: give him the sword, or fight. The correct choice here is to give him the sword (if you choose to fight, you won't get anywhere, since he's essential). He'll forgive you, and you'll be sent back to the temple. The countess will light the Dragonfire, and the realm will be saved (again).

After you get back to the Order Manor, you'll be able to return to Mephala's realm. Just activate the glowing pedestal in the Reception Hall, then go over to the training hall and stand in the pentagram, whereupon you'll be sent to the cave where you first appeared. To get back, you'll have to go through the tower like before.

30		It's done. Countess Narina Carvain of Bruma is ready to ignite the Dragon Fire. She has the stone from Tyrfing's hilt set in her tiara, where it is now visible to everyone. I will follow the Countess to the Imperial City!
45		A sandstorm. In the middle of the Imperial City! The Countess and I will enter the Temple of One on foot as soon as possible, while my knights watch our backs.
80		The Countess has ignited the Dragon Fire. Narina Carvain is officially the Empress of Tamriel and has saved the Empire from the chaos.
100	Finishes quest

• The following empty quest stages were omitted from the table: 5, 10, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 40, 41, 50, 60, 70, 85, 90.

Notes

• Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
• It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDHQ09Power stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
