Lucien Appearing in the Inn[edit]
I've reinstated the comment that Lucien will not appear in the Inn of Ill Omen. The scripting is unambiguous about this - it clearly checks that the player is not in the "InnIllOmen" cell. I've just checked it myself and couldn't get Lucien to appear when I slept in either bed. As soon as I slept in the Faregyl Inn he appeared. Given all this, plus previous players' comments I'm putting Brian Sexton's down as a glitch. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 05:06, 15 November 2008 (EST)
- Are you sure that scripting does not prevent Lucien Lachance from being at the Inn of Ill Omen only under certain conditions or only allow him there under certain conditions? I just experimented with some earlier saved games and while I could not get him to show up there after my first murder (using Minerva as my first victim), I *CAN* get him to show up there after killing Rufio for the "A Knife in the Dark" quest. Whether I kill Rufio directly or cast Touch of Rage and let others do it and whether I rent a room or just use Rufio's bed, Lucien Lachance shows up then. I would offer a screen shot if I could actually find one after Oblivion says it has saved one. - Brian Sexton 20:03, 15 November 2008 (EST)

- He'll show up in the inn after killing Rufio - you can even sleep in the bed next to Rufio's corpse, and will amusingly give his usual dialogue "So, the deed is done. How do I know this?" - but that's not what the paragaraph is taking about. The point with Minerva is that she's a decent target for joining the Dark Brotherhood except that you have to sleep elsewhere to make Lucien appear. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 02:04, 16 November 2008 (EST)
