Base Damage

According to this page Thornblade's base damage is 24. But when I received the sword it was only 23. A few minutes later after fast traveling to the Imperial City Waterfront and entering my house it was 22. My character is well above level 25 where the weapon's stats max out at. Strangely enough the disintegrate armor enchantment is still at 120. This happened while playing the Game Of the Year edition for PS3. Is this a bug or are the stats in the main article wrong? 71.61.250.56 19:04, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

That may be down to your Blade skill or your Strength. Both of these affect the actual damage you see for a weapon. The full calculation is detailed both here and here. --Gaebrial 07:17, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm level 34, 100 blade, 100 strength, and I'm registering a base damage of 26.

Silver Longsword

Obviously it's not a silver longsword, but can anyone else see a base resemblance? 24.233.128.66 14:15, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
