Alchemist Surius

Alchemist Surius is an Imperial alchemist that was hired to study the strange stone found at Raxalee Quarry by Lady Raxalee. He discovered a way to use the substance to create a potent elixir that would increase a person's productivity at the cost of their health.

When Lady Raxalee and Baron Carvain became partners in this endeavor, they hired Surius for additional services. Such as causing potent cases of Fatigue Fever in people who were looking too close at matters.

You will find him in Zeggar's Blind, near his laboratory.

Quest-Related Events

After you and Constable Yabren search Raxalee and Carvain's homes for evidence, you will then head to Zeggar's Blind to see what is there. You will find various Carvain Rowdies roaming the place, and the letter Your Services Are Required. The letter is asking Alchemist Surius to cause the deaths of you and Ghrakug, while the nobles frame the constable for the sickness in Ontus. While Constable Yabren goes to warn Ghrakug, she will ask you destroy the alchemical equipment.

When you go to the destroy the nearby alchemical scale, Alchemist Surius will jump down from a ledge to defend it. He shouts as combat is initiated:

Alchemist Surius: "I won't let you destroy my life's work!"
