Aradros the Awakened

Aradros the Awakened is a Wood Elf pyromaster and member of the Recollection who serves as the last boss of Oathsworn Pit.

Skills and Abilities

Slice/Serrated Wound

A basic melee attack dealing moderate physical damage and physical damage over time.

Emblazoned Strike

Aradros the Awakened performs a powerful strike with his dual swords, dealing very high physical damage and staggering. This can be blocked.

Twin Fires

Adraros holds his swords in front of him briefly, as a wide red cone fills up, and performs a fanning strike, sending a fiery shockwave forward, dealing high flame damage and knocking targets back.

Magma Eruption

Aradros the Awakened channels a spell that causes a pillar of flame to erupt at a target's location, indicated by a slowly growing red circle, dealing high flame damage.

Fracturing Strike

Aradros points one of his swords up, causing a flaming boulder to fall at somewhere in the arena, indicated by a red circle, either at a target's location or nearby trying to catch them moving and avoiding the flaming tiles, dealing extreme flame damage.

Furnace

When Aradros the Awakened reaches 65% health, the floor grate in the center of the arena erupts. Standing on the grate during the initial blast deals massive flame damage. This occurs again when resuming the fight after defeating the mini-boss following "Firestep".

Molten Tile

After effect of "Magma Eruption" and "Furnace". For "Magma Eruption", floor tiles of the arena covered by the flame pillar now glow red-hot, dealing continuous high flame damage if stood on, for some time. For "Furnace" the same principle occurs, but this time a lot more tiles are affected, and it can be any of them, in increasing amounts over time, until only some tiles are left unscorched. In Hard Mode, the tiles are scorched permanently.

Brimstone

At any given moment, a "Molten Tile" can detonate, as indicated by a "+" shaped AoE, dealing massive flame damage to affected targets.

Firestep

When Aradros the Awakened reaches 50% health, he teleports to the center of the arena and engulfes himself in flames, rendering himself invulnerable. A gate opens on the side of the arena, leading to either Faenalir, Maerolor, or Nilborwen (or all three at the same time on Hard Mode) who must be defeated to progress the fight.

Awaken Fire

Occasionally during the fight, flaming Nixad named Awakened Fires will enter the arena to assist Aradros the Awakened.

Fiery Cowardice

Flames appear at the base of the walls of the main arena. If a player touches them, they are instantly dealt lethal oblivion damage.

Chief Bazrag: "We don't need to intimidate you to kill you."

Aradros the Awakened: "The Recollection will not fall to the likes of you!"

Aradros the Awakened: "The pit will claim your bones."
