Caecilius Albus

Caecilius Albus was an Imperial noble from House Albus, and the son of its current leader, Cato Albus. He was tragically slain during his attempts to stop the Three Banners War which has led his family to take a different path to fulfill his wish.

Quest-Related Events

While helping Lucilla Caprenia find out what House Albus has been doing with the kidnapped soldiers, you may encounter Caecilius' spirit, who will appear to say cryptic things before disappearing.

Caecilius Albus' spirit appears in an empty cell in the Prisons:^{[verification needed]}

Caecilius Albus: "There's no time to do what must be done."

Approaching the entrance to the Sewer Pit:

Caecilius Albus: "Weep for the bodyguard who failed to protect. It wasn't his fault."

After defeating Guard Captain Paratius:

Caecilius Albus: "He had a duty, but could not see it through. I will not allow the same to happen to me."

When approaching the Soldiers' Stash:

Caecilius Albus: "Weep for the teacher who taught peace but never stopped fighting."

After defeating Docent Domitius:

Caecilius Albus: "I get it now. Peace is worth fighting for."

Approaching Caecilius' Shrine:

Caecilius Albus: "Weep for a mother destroyed by love."

After defeating Eliana Albus:

Caecilius Albus: "Mother's fate waits for father. I am the cause. I can stop it."

If all three hidden bosses were defeated, he will appear to his father in the Albus Sanctum:

Caecilius Albus: "Father! Not like this. Not anymore."
