Captain Henriel

Captain Henriel is a Wood Elf soldier in charge of the Broadhead Marine contingent found near the Temple of the Crescent Moons on Khenarthi's Roost. Speaking to her will mark Shattered Shoals on your map.

Dialogue[edit]

Before you complete any quests, she tells you about the hurricane.

"We came here hoping to establish a Dominion naval base, but our "forest of sails" turned into a graveyard."
What happened?
"A hurricane blew up out of nowhere just as we got within sight of Khenarthi's Roost. The seas went wild. We tried to make a safe landfall, but most of our ships foundered.
I fear many of my men were lost, but I just don't know."
Where could your men be?
"A lot of the survivors came ashore near Eagle's Strand. Commodore Elpion suggested we move to high ground to survey the land. I think there might be more survivors along the western shore.
We can see a lot of wrecked hulls from here."

After you complete Cast Adrift, she'll instead thank you for the rescue of her soldiers.

"I head [sic] what you did in Shattered Shoals. Thank you for getting my men out of there. And I understand you helped the Prowler's crew, too?"
The Prowler is ready to sail.
"Good. We'll need every intact ship we can find if we're ever going to continue with our mission. Once Khenarthi's Roost is secure, I'm certain we'll have more to do."
What mission is that?
"We need to secure the Lane—the sea route between Elsweyr, Khenarthi's Roost, and Auridon. For that, the Dominion needs an uncontested presence on Khenarthi's Roost.
My marines will help provide that."
What will you do after securing Khenarthi's Roost?
"Honestly, I'm not certain. I've been told to focus on securing Khenarthi's Roost.
If you want to continue helping out, make certain the island's secure. Then we'll talk about what happens next."
