Eardir

Eardir is a High Elf drunkard who can be found in Skywatch overlooking the Docks. He has a few conversations with his friend, Linyon.

Dialogue

Linyon: "What was the name of that girl at that bar a few years ago?"

Eardir: "The barmaid? Eminie. That was almost fifty years ago, you old fool."

Linyon: "What? No, no. Yeah, it was. She's worth remembering, though."

Linyon: "Hey, don't you have a grandson in the service?"

Eardir: "Stars yes. He's so proud, walks around with that ridiculous helm on all the time. Just got a missive from him, he made it through the North Beacon raid."

Linyon: "Auri-El protect him. That must have been terrible."

Eardir: "What was it you were telling me the other day about those lizard people?"

Linyon: "What? The Argonians? I heard an old sailor telling this story about these trees. Mist trees, I think he said. The lizards crawl down out of the trees when they're born, and they can't mate without the —"

Eardir: "Oh just stop. That's ridiculous."

Eardir: "How's your granddaughter?"

Linyon: "Shipped out to South Beacon with her patrol. My daughter is so happy she's somewhere nice and safe. Pah. Safe. No place is safe with the war."

Eardir: "Eh. Calm down. Ciranya's a smart girl. She'll do your ancestors proud."
