"We expect the cave system to prove safe for an experienced surveyor. None of the explorers we sent described any excess of danger. We assume that those who failed to report back merely lacked a strong work ethic."—excerpt from House Mornard's mineral survey proposal

Layout[edit]

Embervine is part volcanic cave system and part jungle. It can be confusing to navigate as there are multiple entrances and exits to each area.

Outer Caverns[edit]

You enter Embervine at the western end of the Outer Caverns. The first cave includes a bridge over a lava flow. There is a narrow corridor east that leads out to the Lower Jungle. If you instead keep traveling within the caverns, you will come to the central cave with a river flowing through it. Past that is another passage north to the Lower Jungle. Taking the fork east instead will lead to a small cave and eventually an exit to the Upper Vista.

Inner Caverns[edit]

These caverns connect to multiple jungle locations. They consist of four passages to the various exit connected via tunnels to a large central chamber filled with lava flows. The southeastern corridor connects to the Upper Vista, the southmost exit connects to the Lower Jungle, the southwestern corridor connects to the Upper Jungle, and the northwestern corridor connects to the Jungle Overlook.

Lower Jungle[edit]

This is the central portion of the jungle map. There are many possible paths to take, including heading southeast to the Upper Vista. To the west and southwest are exits to the Outer Caverns. The Upper Jungle and Jungle Overlook cannot be reached directly via the Lower Jungle without entering the Inner Caverns. The Inner Caverns can be accessed via an exit in the northeast or the Upper Vista.

Upper Vista[edit]

The Upper Vista is at the southeastern end of the jungle. The southern exit connects to the Outer Caverns and the Northern exit connects to the Inner Caverns. You can also walk down to the Lower Jungle from here.

Upper Jungle[edit]

The Upper Jungle lies at the northern end of the jungle map and rises above the Lower Jungle. It can be accessed via the Inner Caverns or by climbing down from the Jungle Overlook. This is the location of the final delve boss.

Jungle Overlook[edit]

The Jungle Overlook is at the northernmost end of the jungle map and looks out over the Upper Jungle. It can be accessed via the northwest corridor in the Inner Caverns. This is the location of the delve's skyshard.
