Fort Sundercliff rises over the village of Sundercliff, located on the scenic Nibenay Basin. Once it defended the border between Cyrodiil and the eastern provinces of Morrowind and Black Marsh, but it currently sits abandoned due to cutbacks and the ongoing war farther to the north.

Fort Sundercliff

Fort Sundercliff is a Legion fort located in the eastern Nibenay Basin, surrounded by the town of Sundercliff. You will visit the burning ruins of the fort during the quest Ambition's End, when Mehrunes Dagon attacks the town and attempts to merge Nirn with the Deadlands with the help of Sombren.
