Foundation Stone Atronach

The Foundation Stone Atronach is a stone atronach acting as the second boss in the Aetherian Archive. Unlike regular stone atronachs, it is much larger and decorated with ancient Nedic carvings.

Skills and Abilities

As a boss rank enemy, the Foundation Stone Atronach is immune to crowd control.

Stonegaze

Basic ranged attack dealing high magic damage.

Big Quake

The Atronach slams its "head" into the ground several times, each time dealing moderate-high physical damage in a very large area. This ability must be healed through.

Boulder Storm

The atronach goes into "turtle" mode and hides its head. Stones will be thrown at individual players, each dealing moderate-high physical damage in a small area. The group must spread out and block to prevent shrapnel from hitting each other. If you don't block, you'll be knocked down.

Minions

The Foundation Stone Atronach summons Firstmage Chainspinners and Nullifiers.

Notes

• The body of a Foundation Stone Atronach can be found in Balamath. A few others can be found in the Deeproot of Earthen Root Enclave.
• Generic Stone Atronachs were first introduced in Update 15. Before that, the Foundation Stone Atronach from Update 1 was the only named one.
