Online:Kalodar's Farewell
|
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Helfhild.
- Search for signs of Kalodar.
- Return to Helfhild.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Helfhild set up her camp near the main road from Vernim Woods to Eldbjorg's Hideaway. When you approach her, she will inquire if you have ever met a man named Kalodar, her father. She will further explain that he left on a hunting expedition some years before, and her and her mother never heard again. Apparently, some of the local hunters told her that they knew a trapper by her father's name. She does not believe that Kalodar simply left, as her mother does, and will ask you to help her find at least his remains.
Head towards the mountains, to the northwest of her camp, fighting bears. In a short while you will stumble upon an abandoned camp with a skeleton, a broken crate and a burnt out fire. Judging by the letter found near hunter's remains, this is all that's left of Kalodar. Take the letter and head back to Helfhild.
Back at the camp, tell her about your findings and give her the letter. She will thank you, for you finally brought peace to her heart, and reward you with some gold.

I found some remains in the hills that might be Helfhild's father. There's a letter here as well.

The letter I found was addressed to Helfhild. I should return it to her.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
