Selene's Web

Glirion the Redbeard of the Undaunted has challenged me to explore Selene's Web, a spider-haunted grove in Reaper's March.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Enter Selene's Web.
   • Optional: Enter Dungeon in Veteran Mode.
2. Kill Longclaw.
3. Kill Foulhide.
4. Kill Selene.

   You can only complete the Death Challenge in Veteran Mode.

   • Defeat Selene after invoking the Scroll of Glorious Battle
5. Return to Glirion the Redbeard at any Undaunted Enclave.

Speak to Glirion the Redbeard to get the details of this quest.

What's the pledge today?

"Selene's Web. No place for the civilized. Or even my brutish peers. The beasts and their Bosmer keepers are formidable and deadly. Will you be the one to tame this wild place?"

And if I can handle more?

"Selene is the ruler of her domain. It bends to her command. Prove that you will not bow as well. Invoke the Scroll of Glorious Battle and cut the threads binding her life."

I pledge to explore Selene's Web and return Undaunted.

Once you have accepted the quest, you can enter Selene's Web either by accessing the dungeon through the Dungeon Finder, or heading to Reaper's March and entering the dungeon from there with a group. You have the choice of entering the normal dungeon or the veteran version, this choice will affect if you can complete the optional step and your rewards.

When inside the dungeon, you will need to progress through the dungeon, slaying the following bosses, Longclaw, Foulhide and Selene. With the last boss fight, if you are in the veteran dungeon, you have the option of completing the optional task of activating the Scroll of Glorious Battle to put the boss in hard mode.

Once you have completed the task, you can return to Glirion the Redbeard at any of the Undaunted Enclaves, and speak with him to complete the quest:

"Have the itching ivies and nibbling bugs laid you low. or do you return from Selene's Web Undaunted?"

Selene has been dealt with.

"Once again the forest is tamed. Best to leave it to run wild in time. When all the places of the world are conquered we will be left hollow."

Perhaps, but what has today's hunt earned me? / I have been expecting it.
