Sealord Nalos

Sealord Nalos is a Maormer and current leader of the Dreadsails. He also appears to have ambitions of creating his own kingdom in the Systres, to which he is willing to work with the Firesong Circle.

Quest-Related Events

A Sea of Troubles

Sir Stefan Mornard will ask you to investigate various locations around Galen for Dreadsails activity. During this, you will learn that on Nalos' orders, the Eldertide village of Tuinh was sacked. And within Suncleft Grotto, you will find Sealord Nalos with one of the captives, Druid Niraya as he speaks to one of the Dreadsail Pirates:

Sealord Nalos: "This one has the information I seek. We simply need to extract it from her."

Sealord Nalos: "I'll take her with me to the keep. Dispose of the rest as you wish, but do not tarry long."

Druid Niraya: "No! Please! Don't hurt them. You only need me!"

<Sealord Nalos leaves with Niraya in tow.>

You can then head further in to rescue the other druids and meet Captain Siravaen. Later when you attend the druids' Draiofe, it is attacked by a combination of Dreadsails and Firesong and most of the Stonelore and Eldertide druids there die. Sealord Nalos is also present as he holds Sir Stefan at swordpoint and is captured.

Tides of Ruin

Count Leonard Mornard will publicly do nothing against the Firesong, but secretly has you attempt to rescue Sir Stefan. After speaking with Archdruid Ellic, you learn that Sir Stefan and Druid Niraya are likely being held in the ruins of Castle Tonnere and Captain Siravaen confirms the story. Soon after you enter the old dungeons, you can eavesdrop on Sealord Nalos speaking with Captain Uldiss:

Sealord Nalos: "The Eldertide druid broke, as I knew she would."

Captain Uldiss: "Yes, sealord. Are we finished with her?"

Sealord Nalos: "Keep her alive until we have the relic in hand."

<Captain Siravaen then appears out of the shadows.>

Captain Siravaen: "Nalos! I've come for your head!"

Sealord Nalos: "Siravaen? Bah! Uldiss, you get the relic and deliver it to the Firesong. I'll deal with this pest."

<Captain Uldiss teleports away. Sealord Nalos runs and Siravaen gives chase.>

Captain Siravaen: "Die, traitor! For King Orgnum!"

The Siege of Vastyr

After going through the courtyard path in the Cathedral District during the siege of Vastyr, Sealord Nalos will impede your way and you have to fight him:

Sealord Nalos: "The mainlander champion? Face me and die!"

Captain Siravaen: "Nalos! Time to pay for turning the Dreadsails into traitors!"

During the fight, he will call upon his magic reef vipers Nita and Asha to fight you and Siravaen:

Sealord Nalos: "Nita, Asha, I need your aid!"

Calling his vipers again:

Sealord Nalos: "My serpents will tear you apart!"

Close to being defeated:

Sealord Nalos: "I cannot fall! I am Sealord Nalos!"
