ON-icon-Rapport-1.png -1 Let your gear break (?)
ON-icon-Rapport-1.png -1 Use an outfitting station (Rapport decreases even if the outfit is not changed) (?)
This only applies to digging up the chest, not looting it, meaning that you can, after digging it up, switch to Mirri before opening the chest to get her rapport boost as well.
This also includes Glenmoril Wyrd Treasure Maps, despite there being no physical chest to dig up.
This does not apply inside player homes, so if you wish to change his outfit without annoying him, simply set him active before entering a home with an outfitting station.
