Quest-Related Events

He'll greet you with one of the following before the quest is complete:

"I did not think it would be this cold. The moisture on my scales has turned to frost, and that just makes me even colder."

"When it's this cold, I try to remember the time when I was still inside my egg. It seems impossible, but it must be in our memories somewhere.
Maybe right before we die, we remember … and then we return to the roots and do it all over again."

When you approach with the shirt:

"By the Egg, tell me she didn't …. I recognize that shirt you're carrying. My mother sent you, didn't she?
If my scales were not frozen, they would be purple with embarrassment."

She was worried you might be cold.

"And she was right … again. I'm beginning to realize that she usually is.
When I was a hatchling, I thought her membranes were dry, but as I get older, it seems like she's getting smarter. Funny how that works, isn't it?"

After the quest, he thanks you again.

"Kaoc! This shirt feels like fresh, warm mud. I am embarrassed that my mother asked you to perform such a petty errand, especially because it was my own fault.
All the same, I erect the spine of gratitude."
