Valkynaz Dek is a powerful Dremora who can found at Chthon Plaza. He is a member of the Dreamcarver Clan and has the rare chance of dropping the Ensorceled Drying Twine lead for the Spore Savant Face Marks.

Skills and Abilities

As a boss rank enemy, Valkynaz Dek is immune to crowd control. At the start of the fight, he is accompanied by a stronger Dreamcarver Kynreeve, Dreamcarver Ranger, Dreamcarver Shade Sentinel and Dreamcarver Spellsword. Valkynaz Dek has a purple invincibility shield until the four Dreamcarvers are killed.

Quick Strike

Basic melee attack dealing moderate physical damage.

Heavy Attack

Charged melee attack dealing high physical damage and staggering. This can be blocked to stagger Valkynaz Dek instead.

Teleport Strike

When far from them, Valkynaz Dek teleports and stabs the target, dealing moderate magic damage and snaring the target briefly.

Wild Swings

Valkynaz Dek swipes his sword in front of him three times, each time dealing moderate physical damage and snaring while the third swipe knocks down.

Driving Strike

Valkynaz Dek spins then smashes his sword on the ground which launches an area of energy forwards, dealing high magic damage, knocking down and stunning for 3 seconds targets hit. Blocking negates the crowd control.

Shadeblast

When cast, this interruptible attack causes multiple AoE circles to slowly move in various directions, dealing moderate magic damage and stunning whomever it hits.

Nightmare Gaze

Valkynaz Dek canalizes a purple beam aimed at a target which passes through them, dealing continous high magic damage and snaring targets hit. This can be interrupted to stagger Valkynaz Dek.

Damage Immune and Fire

At 88%, 78%, 62%, 48%, 32% and 18% Health, the purple invincibility shield returns for a few seconds each time.

Dialogue

When you start attacking the group, he will cry out.

Valkynaz Dek: "Who challenges the Dreamcarver clan?"

Valkynaz Dek: "Fools! You face the Valkynaz of the Dreamcarvers!"

Valkynaz Dek: "Another interloper? Let me twist your dreams."
