Vinicius Castorius is an Imperial aide to Councilor Jirich who can be found outside the gates to Leyawiin. He is standing in front of Captain Rian Liore alongside Gratia Fauseius and Llavane Gilaram.

Dialogue

He explains his concern for Councilor Jirich.

"I'm Councilor Jirich's aide. She would have informed me of any schedule changes. It's not like her to simply disappear without a word."

After you accept the quest, the trio will pipe up.

Llavane Gilaram: "Captain, are you really trusting the fate of Councilor Jirich to this … this outsider?"

Vinicius Castorius: "Oh, why didn't Councilor Jirich heed your warnings?"

Gratia Fauseius: "If the Ivory Brigade requires mercenaries to do their job, perhaps Leyawiin needs different protectors."

If you speak to him after accepting the quest, he'll say:

"I watched the councilor head off this morning, the same as every other day. She keeps to a regular schedule. That's why I came to Captain Rian straight away when she failed to show up for her meeting with these nobles."

While searching in Councilor Jirich's house, he will be inside with Llavane and Gratia. He will implore you to seek justice for Jirich:

"I heard you were with Councilor Jirich when she... when she expired. I hope you find the cretins that killed her. They deserve whatever punishment you and the Divines can devise!"
