A wanted bandit named Yngrel the Bloody has been causing trouble along the northern road in the Rift. I've been offered a reward to bring him down.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Medveig south of Northwind Mine.
- Kill Yngrel the Bloody.
- Return to Medveig.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Medveig has a little problem she needs taken care of. A bandit named Yngrel the Bloody is in this area, and he's been wreaking havoc in the Rift. He's apparently wanted from Windhelm to Markarth, and she asks you to find and kill him. She knows Yngrel is likely in the nearby hills, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding him and putting him down.
- "Watch yourself traveling these roads alone, stranger."
- You had some trouble?
- "Highwaymen. Thieves and cutthroats. Not uncommon in the Rift, but these have been more troublesome than most. We believe we know the identity of their leader, but we've been unable to track him down."
- I could give you a hand.
- "Fancy yourself a sellsword, eh? Yngrel the Bloody, they call him. He's wanted from here to Markarth. If you can track him in the hills and put him down before he causes more harm, there'd be gold in it for you."
- Consider it done.
Yngrel is located on a ledge east of Northwind Mine. Kill him, then return to Medveig near the Hunter Camp. She rewards you for taking care of the bandit problem.
- "You've the scent of blood on you. Is the deed done?"
- Yngrel is a lot bloodier now.
- "You've earned this coin then. If all sellswords were more like you, they'd find a warmer welcome!"
