Detailed Walkthrough

The Sun Mother's Summon

After sending Malthorc's message to Vesmorah, you will experience a vision in which Druabith, the Sun Mother has summoned you to her sanctum in Vars Tharnil.

Meeting the Sun Mother

Druabith, the Sun Mother is located at Starflight Halls in the elven ruins of Vars Tharnil. The entrance to Vars Tharnil is located just northeast of the Communal Hut in Merduibh. Once inside, go down the stairs and head to the left. Follow the path and go through the door leading to Simleth Caverns. Then, follow the linear path until you reach the door to Starflight Halls.

Once spoken to, Druabith wants you to slay Malthorc, the Boar Demon to reunite the Taliesinn under the blood rituals of the sun cult, and promises you great rewards for doing so. Accept her request and you will be given Druabith's Charm, which can be used to free Malthorc from his imprisonment when you speak the word "pargain" while hurting him in the process.

With the charm in your hands, go to Taliesinntara in Bailcnoss and confront Malthorc.

Confronting Malthorc

Malthorc knew why you returned to him and who sent you. While he would love to be free from his prison, he does not like what Druabith has in store for him, so he has another proposal for you. Malthorc asks you to slay Druabith, the Sun Mother, and unite the Taliesinn under the rituals of the moon cult instead, and promises great reward for doing so as well.

It's now time to pick your side...

Siding with Druabith

Should you choose to side with Druabith, the Sun Mother, equip the Druabith's Charm given to you, and choose to speak the word "pargain" when interacting with Malthorc. This will free him from the crystal prison and turns him hostile, allowing you to kill him and reunite the Taliesinn under the Sun Cult.

Return to Druabith for a reward: Blood of the Sun, an ability that fortifies your Endurance by 5 points.

Siding with Malthorc

Should you choose to side with Malthorc, the Boar Demon, go back to Vars Tharnil to kill Druabith and reunite the Taliesinn under the Moon Cult. Druabith will not be hostile until you attack her.

Return to Malthorc for your reward: Sanies Aprum, a disease that will allow you to become a Wereboar, as well as Teeth of the Chosen.

Notes

• The disease that Malthorc gives as reward is scripted and it is impossible to avoid by any means, even with 100% resistance to Common Disease. The disease is indicated by a red icon added to your Effects icon bar. Hovering over this icon shows "Drain Fatigue Sanies Aprum: 1 pt".
• Being a Wereboar is essentially the same as being a Werewolf, but with differences in your abilities as a Wereboar. While in Wereboar form, you will have 20% resist poison, constantly regenerate health and fatigue, 500 pts of Detect Animal, and 15 pts of Night Eye. Everything else is the same as being a Werewolf.
• While being a wereboar, your attributes and skills are as follows:

• You can choose to reject the rewards offered. They will not be pleased and tell you to go away, and further interactions will not be possible. They will not offer you the reward anymore.
• You can also choose to kill both Druabith and Malthorc. You will not receive any rewards for doing so.

40		Malthorc knew why I had returned to Taliesinntara. However, he in turn promised great rewards if I would slay Druabith instead and reunite the Taliesinn under the rituals of the Moon Cult.
50		I agreed to slay Druabith.
60		I used Druabith's charm on Malthorc, freeing him but wounding and enraging him in the process.
70	Finishes quest	Druabith rewarded me for slaying Malthorc.
75	Finishes quest	Unable to transform me into one of his Chosen, Malthorc partially rewarded me for killing Druabith.
