Criaglorc

Criaglorc is a Reachman village and the home of the Braign tribe. It is located in the Druadach Highlands, south of Mirilstern and southeast of Haimtir. It sits on a lower ledge of the Briag Cnoss Mesa that overlooks the headwaters of the Karth River and, further to the east, the city of Karthwasten.

Getting There and Around

Characters with levitaion magic can most easily reach Craiglorc by starting from Karthwasten. Leave the city through its northern gates and follow the road to Agerete's Farmhouse. Turn west here and pass the farmhouse, continuing until you reach the a cliff overlooking the Karth River. From here levitate across the river to Wilbur's house and then, after pausing for a short break to recover your magicka if needed, levitate up the cliffs behind his house. Craiglorc's palisade should be visible before you, though you should beware of any wildlife that might be present on the clifftops nearby; wormmouths gather a short distance north of here while a Kreathi Minotaur may jump down to ambush you from the cliffs above.

Character's without the ability to levitate should instead start from Dragonstar. Leave the city through its northeastern gate and follow the road past Herlundsval Barrow. Continue along the road until you see a path leading southeast off the road; turn off the road here and follow this path. Turn right at a fork in the path and continue south until you reach the ruined settlement of Hoarbeld (beware of Cacitus Suspilus and his wolves). From here, turn west off the path until you reach the edge of a cliff and then turn south, walking along the cliff's edge and under a stone arch. Continue south through this valley, passing some ruins to the east and traveling through a naturnal archway, until you reach Craiglorc.

Places of Interest Around Criaglorc

Braignainesaide can be found immediately southwest of the village, accessible through a gap in the villages palisade. To the north is the Direnni ruin of Mirilstern, though unless you can levitate you'll need to pass it under a natural archway and continue traveling north, keeping to the east wall of the valley, until you reach the ruined settlement of Hoarbeld; from here you can turn south and follow the path to Mirilstern and the Pachkan Reachman village of Haimtir. Just east of Craiglorc, off the edge of a cliff below it, is Wilbur's house. Below that, behind a waterfall at the mouth of the Karth River, is Skjuggefald Deeps.
