Skyrim Mod:A Tale of Blood and Snow/Quarra Clan
The Quarra Clan is a coven of Vampires operating in Skyrim after the events of the Red Year drove them out of Vvardenfell.
After the death of their founder Volrina Quarra in the late 3rd Era and the destruction of their headquarters when Red Mountain began erupting, the surviving Quarra left Morrowind for Skyrim at the invitation of the Volkihar Clan. After assisting their new allies with an expedition in The Reach, they were offered dwemer ruins in Pinemoon Cave as a new home.
As the outsiders in Skyrim's vampiric underworld, the Quarra have no interest in playing the political games used by the Cronvangr Clan in Eastmarch and the Vampyrum Order of Cyrodiil. They hold fast to the teachings of Volrina and believe there is no point in acting as anything other than the monsters their vampirism has turned them into, and so they take what they want through brute force of arms instead of magic or deception.

- The Quarra originally appeared in Morrowind as one of three joinable vampire factions.
- Volrina's fate was intentionally left ambiguous by the author so as to account for potential player continuity from Morrowind, where multiple factions had quests to kill the Quarra founder.
