The price I had to pay to the Volkihar was high. Higher than I would have preferred. But no cost is too great for my prize. Stone Garden! A Dwarven ruin forgotten even compared to other dwarven ruins. But I care little for whatever trinkets they left behind. No, my interest is far greater.

Necromantic alchemy is a field few appreciate, and fewer still practice. I have been fortunate to gather like minded, though far less skilled, students. I've pioneered many concoctions with their help, but this? This will be my masterpiece. A potion to surpass all other potions.

Stone Garden, you see, was once the home of the infamous Arkasis. The Mad Alchemist, as they called him. Genius recognizes genius, and even with my skills Arkasis' findings far outstripped mine. Most of his knowledge is lost, burned or rotted away. But what better source than the man himself?

I know Stone Garden was also the site of his untimely death. And a violent death leaves behind ghosts, however faint. With my solution and the right necromantic spell, I can bring Arkasis' spirit back, bind it to my will, and strip his secrets from his mind. Just think: My potential, his knowledge. Necromantic alchemy will take its rightful place in the world, and I as its greatest teacher.
