Never thought I would be shifting stone for a Khajiit, but his coin was good, so here we mine.

He says he is holding on to the rest of it until he has found what he is looking for and we are safely back out of the cave. I am not sure what he thinks we are, but we are not swords-for-hire.

Nor are we carthorses, but that does not stop him from sitting there spurring us all day, urging us to work faster while lounging around himself.

We agreed amongst ourselves if things go awry, or he finds himself unhappy with whatever lies past this threshold, we will be taking the rest of the coin regardless. Payback for his ill-judged words.
