Official Description[edit]
Visual Overhaul of Elven and Glass Weapons, plus Blood Glass Weapon Set added
My goal was to make the weapons more realistic and captivating by adding additional detailing and shading that still retains the high quality original structure of the original designs. In addition to the more obvious color tweaks, you'll see tarnishing and shadows that make the weapons feel more alive. Glass textures have actual malachite swirls. Arrow fletching was made with a photo of a red tail hawk feather. Chillrend now glows in the dark.
Blood Glass weapons are craftable, [sic] they require corundum ingots and in a few cases additional malachite. They all have higher critical hit damage stats, and most also have increased damage.
This mod was made to accompany my other creation, "Xila's Light Armor - Reworked and Expanded"
I strongly recommend that one to get matching armor textures, [sic] you can find it here: [sic]
The PC version has normal and diffuse maps at 4K and Metal/Environment maps are half that size. For Xbox, all textures are half that, so diffuse maps and most normal maps are the same size as vanilla. There's still a lot of increased detail and quality even at the same resolution.
The textures were created with a wide variety of methods. Starting with upscaling and separating out materials into layers, proceeding with blending in PBR, stock and vanilla assets and doing custom hand work in Photoshop.
Although this is primarily a texture mod, the glass weapons also have edited meshes with new cubemaps and specular effects. You should thus make sure it overwrites any other mods that edit glass weapons.
It should be safe to add or remove mid-save.
Screenshots are shown with vanilla armor textures.
Thank you so much to Chirabi for the incredible screenshots. You can find him here on nexus [sic]:

Thank you to Shahadut for doing the material layer separation.
Finally, thank you to Bethesda, to all the art contributors to Skyrim, and for all the wonderful folks in the VC program who offered support and insight along the way.
