BODT does not control body part data[edit]
"body parts replaced\used by this armor" is listed as one of the things that the BODT subrecord handles.
... Except it doesn't. I am attempting to make an open-face ebony helmet, and I wholesale copied the data contents of the Blades Helmet ARMO's BODT (which does have a face and helmet hair) into the BODT of the Ebony Helmet. I even used the Blades helmet nif as the splice basis in NIFSkope since there seems to be some extra data bits that look to be relevant. In-game, all I get is the open face ebony helmet... floating above a headless body.

- BMDT, perhaps? that screams 'body mesh data' to me. —Rick 07:33, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
