Availability[edit]

Tarponpet can reliably find this ingredient for sale from Ri'saad using an existing save for unmodded PS5 Anniversary Edition. I have just tried to replicate this on unmodded Anniversary Edition v 1.6.1170 on Steam by visiting all three traders, and after 100+ resets of their inventory I haven't seen a single aloe leaf. GetQuestRunning RP_AloeIntegration is true and the ingredient does exist with ID FE0400D0, but I just cannot get this item to spawn naturally.

Am I just extremely unlucky with the leveled lists? Why is it seemingly so common on PS5 but won't show up for me on PC? —Legoless (talk) 20:52, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

After some further investigation, I discovered that aloe was consistently available on a different save file for a low level character. The only difference I observed was that Ironwood Fruit was not available from the Khajiit trader on that save, which is expected behaviour given I hadn't yet completed the quest that adds the fruit to the Khajiit trader leveled list. I suspect this is another example of CC leveled list changes affecting a merchant's usual stock (best observed by comparing Radiant Raiment's stock in vanilla Skyrim vs AE). It would be good if someone could test and confirm this theory, but I think it's safe to say the new ingredient is bugged. —Legoless (talk) 20:59, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
This isn't true for everyone though. On the save where Aloe Vera is common for me I have in-fact completed Bittercup, Ironwood fruit is avaiable for me along with Aloe Vera. —Tarponpet (talk) 4:09 PM, 30 January 2024 (EST)
Well, I'm all out of ideas. Not sure why it isn't available on my late game vanilla save. I've updated the page. —Legoless (talk) 21:10, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
